Jury Process:
The panelists are seven locals chosen by invitation. They are drawn from a pool of gallery owners, professional artists, and Rochester community members. Submitted images and a brief description of your work will be displayed, but no name will be attached. All photos of your artwork in a particular category are previewed; scoring occurs during a second, in-depth viewing. Jurors individually score each entry on five different categories on a scale from one to ten.
Although we prize three places, only the first prizes in each category will receive a financial award.
IMPORTANT: All artwork shall have a professional finish - WIRED to be ready for hanging. After the three exhibitions, your art will return to be picked up at G-24. You'll have four weeks to pick up your art unless you let the MCAF team know about the reasons for your delay.
