Have Fun at MCAF!

MCAF is an all ages event! It is safe to bring your kiddos and have a day out with everyone here. We will have plenty for the young and the young at heart to get their hands into and enjoy. 

Handmade and local artists will be gathered in Downtown Peace Plaza ready to show you their hard work and great skill. What a wonderful thing to have so many talented individuals in one place to tell you all about their work and be able to see demonstrations, get your own hands on tutorials for FREE, get the kids involved in some fun, enjoy the fresh air, wonderful entertainment, and see what Rochester, MN has to offer.

ed CIty Art Festival offers a variety of Art Contests to get involved with. from children to adults and all experience levels are welcome to participate and build a portfolio by entering in MCAF art contests. The entry fees allow us to continue our fund-raising efforts to provide year after year of ongoing festival fun for the Rochester, MN and surrounding Minnesota communities and where we draw the award funds for the art contests. MCAF aims to highlight and showcase culture and share it with everyone attending. one of the ways we choose to do that is through dance and music performances. While the main focus of the MCAF vendor tents is the large selection of handmade artisans, there is also a great variety of snacks, treats, and goodies to munch on. If you are interested in signing up as a food or drink vendor, please apply, as we love to include a large selection and variety. Our attendees enjoy having a variety!

Every year Med City Art Festival in Rochester, MN offers a variety of interactive art for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. Plans for 2025 include a variety of hands on projects throughout the festival at our new MCAF Teaching Tent which will have Hands on activities and Demos throughout the Day as well as other hands on activities from certain volunteer  Teaching Artists that will provide an activity at their own booths.
